I must say that I am so excited about the trip to Tasmania! What an awesome opportunity to be part of God's work there. We are praying daily for the church at Beauty Point and the work God is already doing. (Would you join us in prayer?)
On the detail end, we are pursuing passports at the moment, talking with travel agents, and getting plans together for our concert in March at Lake Fork Baptist in Alba, Tx. It is busy, busy, busy, but all with the end goal of serving with Christians in Tasmania and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
At times I feel a nervousness that we will be unable to raise the money or that some detail will be left undone. I am always reminded that my help comes from the maker of heaven and earth.(Psalm 121:2) This is such a comfort to me. The God of all creation is intimately involved in the details of our lives, and the details of this mission trip. He is the Provider and the Giver of every good thing! How can I not be encouraged and excited?
Thank you to everyone who has shared our excitement and the vision for this trip. Thanks to the supporters through diligent prayer and those who have been led to give. God is doing amazing work through each of you! You are partnership Tasmania!
Love to you all!-- Heather Horton (for the Tasmania Mission Team)

Great Webpage Heather.
Craig here from Tassie just letting you all know that we are also excited about you coming over and serving with us. Lot's of work to be done but I am thankful that it is the Lord's church and he is faithful so provided we put everything before him and do our best he is sure to bless the trip.
I thank Him for Lake Fork Baptist Church and your willingness to travel the world to share the gospel.
God bless your preparation.

Beauty Point
Excitement is not reserved for the USA :)
Peter and Gwen from Beaconsfield Tasmania.
We have been involved with Beauty Point for 3 years (since its inception) and are really looking forward to the arrival of the team from Lake Fork.
Gwen and I are fortunate enough to have room for a couple to stay - Bob and Sandy I believe.
Hassle Craig for our email as we would love to hear from you in advance.
I suspect God has good things in store for Beauty Point and the visitors as well.
In anticipation - Peter
